Wife's 40th
Planning a day/night out in London for the missus around Jan/Feb time. I've googled loads of stuff and got a couple of ideas but thought I'd ask you bastards if you've got any unique ideas that might impress the lady..

And before you ask I'm not planning to take her up the 'arris, it's her birthday not mine!

I know you won't let me down... :-)

Try Vinopolis. Wine tasting and stuff. Sent my mrs there with one of her friends for mothers day. She loved it. Borough market is close by for lunch, then vinopolis, then somewhere else for the evening. As mentioned, i've heard the ice bar is good, haven't been personally

Agree. She will be well impressed with Le Gavroche. Hurry up though as you have to book at least 3 months in advance.

Tresco is were we stayed.

I dont believe in Spirituality or any of that shit but there is an small Island just of New Grimby that was used for burials in the Bronze age. It is the only place in the world I have been that I would describe as 'Spiritual'. Being there made me feel better about everything.

Set her up for a "photoshoot" where she gets spit roasted by 6 black men and film it and pocket 1-5 grand for yourself depending on her hotness and if you let them jizz inside her.

Agreed. Tresco is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, and I've been to a lot of very nice places.

Dinner at The Wellesley is really good. The Oval restaurant on a Friday night has a jazz band playing live, toppy but worth it.

Take her for a drink at Galvin at Windows first, she'll love it.

Shard sounds good. Also thinking of a dinner cruise up the thames after an afternoon show.. Appreciate the advice chaps.. As always, WHO is the place to be! :-)

Re: Wife's 40th
Book a meal at the Shard. Have a sublime meal, great view of the city, a few drinks and some good conversation. Then once you've finished grab a cab, head to Covant Garden, have a few drinks in swanky bar and head home.

Ok well if she don't like helicopters, then I would suggest something I did a while ago which also went down well.

Hire a yacht for the day, medium size, nothing OTT or garish. Hire some on board fine dining, music candles, rose petals spread about the place. Very romantic
